Postscript

One of the great dangers, perhaps the greatest, threatening us as Christians is fade-out. God brings a message to us that shakes us awake to the perils of our situation, and drives home the need of immediate and drastic action. And we determine we will take action.

But soon the force of the impact wears off, the sense of urgency fades, and we fall back into spiritual slumber.

When probation closes, many Seventh-day Adventists will be found in this condition who genuinely meant to do something about it-but never did.

"Listen! This is the hour to receive God's favor, today is the day to be saved!" (2 Cor. 6:2, T.E.V.). Today and today and today we must be alert and ready, regardless of all things else, "for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
